* It is recognized that some women may develop compulsive coping strategies (including eating disorders) as a result of early childhood trauma.

Offers group counselling, drop-in counselling, and support groups for issues relating to self-esteem, relationships, communication, sexual abuse, and/or self-awareness

Supports and Information Services:
Women’s Health Clinic: Provincial Eating Disorder Prevention and Recovery Program
For women and men ages 16 and up who experience disordered eating, weight preoccupation and/or body image concerns (additional support group programming for men is in development and will be responsive to community needs). Consultation and family support are also available.
All support groups are closed groups and require an intake process. Groups take place at the Women’s Health Clinic, 419 Graham Ave.
